File operation problems in Windows 7

I’m running Windows 7 Pro 64bit on a laptop. When I move or delete a file from a folder, it does not disappear. I have to refresh the folder for it to disappear. If I hit delete again on the file’s thumbnail, the OS complains that the file doesn’t exist. Many people are having this same problem. For example, right now I moved a PDF file from the Desktop to My Documents. It takes 20-30 seconds for the file to move to the folder. In the meantime, the Explorer window is completely frozen and the thumbnail remains on the desktop. It works on my desktop, however. I hope this gets fixed in SP1.
